Titans Rising Ensemble: "Femme fascinante - Claude-Catherine de Clermont und die Geburt des Air de Cour"

In Claude-Catherine de Clermont's salon, poets, musicians, intellectuals, and courtiers gathered to share their works, recite poems, sing verses with music, and hold intellectual debates. A key influencer, the Countess used her education to promote late 16th-century French cultural creation. The concert focuses on Airs de Cour, accompanied by 4- and 5-part polyphonic chansons. Adrian Le Roy's lute method book features complex lute solos and chansons by Lassus. The concert includes diminutions on Airs de Cour and poetry recitations by the Titans Rising Ensemble.
